By enhancing your body composition, you can achieve more goals than one with your new year’s resolution. But what does that all mean? Well, essentially you’ll be decreasing the amount of body fat you have while increasing your overall lean muscle mass. This will not only help you in terms of living a longer and healthier life, but will also help you in other areas such as athletic performance.
3. Spend More Time Outdoors
By making an overall effort to spend more time outdoors, we’re improving our health by creating new avenues for mental relaxation and stress reduction. Studies have shown that by spending time outdoors, there are a host of health benefits that go along with it. In 2018, many of us have been guilty of neglecting sleep while prioritizing our ongoing goals.
