Correct Meditation Posture Explained

Do you ever wonder if you have the right meditation posture? There are some basic elements of posture when doing meditation that are done in order to calm the mind and align the body.

For those who are accustomed sitting in a chair, sitting in the ground in cross legged fashion may be a bit of an effort. This is a good time to try it out. Elongating the spine can also be your point to form your firm foundation through it. It is as if a rod could go through the top of your head and down through your bottom. Resting your hands can be the simplest thing you can do as you just need to rest them in your lap. Drop your hands at your sides and pick them up at the elbow and drop your palms down to your thighs.
