Diet is such a tricky word. I am fit but overweight. Yes, I have no serious health conditions but thanks to the fat, I can’t say with confidence that I am HEALTHY.
I don’t binge on junk food and eat fair amount of calories each day. I just didn’t pay attention to what I should have had on my diet. Instead, I just began working out 3 to 5 days on the treadmill for 45 minutes per session. I was not losing significant weight. My weight loss was unnoticeable, which made me kind of disappointed. Then something magical happened. I drank 2 (34 oz) of bottles of water per day even when I had tea or coffee already. And I even skipped many workouts. But the water worked wonders and made me lose a lot of weight in a few weeks. It kept me fuller after meals for longer keeping me away from those late night snacks. I just couldn’t believe this was happening to me. But I was pretty happy and satisfied with the results. So, as far as my experience goes, diet is important, but this word is overly restricting. I think water can do much more than a dietary change. So, if things are getting too overwhelming for you, make sure you give a go to water. It may work for you too.
