Relationships and How They Interact with Social Media

Do you ever get tired of seeing couples on your social media feed? Seeing their pictures and whereabouts almost every day can annoy you, especially if they post cheesy statuses from time to time.

Believe it or not, happy couples rarely share information about their relationship on social media. According to studies, happy couples don’t post as much online since they don’t have to boast about their relationship. When you’re with your significant other, it’s better to enjoy each other’s company instead of spending your time posting pictures online just to let everyone know what you’re up to. Happy couples treasure their moments together instead of being preoccupied with something else. Happy couples don’t need any validation from social media—thus, feeling no pressure to share what’s happening in their relationship online. Showing off isn’t their thing, especially when they’re content with what’s happening in their relationship in the present. So when you find yourself in a healthy relationship, think twice before sharing loads of pictures and information about you two. More often, it’s better not to let everyone get a glimpse of your relationship. After all, who wants to spend their time on social media when you’re with the love of your life?
